Abstract
An ideal gas sensor is used to design a kit along with alarm and messaging using gsm module to detect gas leak in gas storage tank. The sensor can also sense smoke, iso-butane,propane. In case of gas leak the output of the sensor will go low and it will be detected by microcontroller which will turn on alarm/buzzer and leds.

MQ-5 sensor: When there is gas leak,the output of the sensor goes low.
Microcontroller: This is the main controller of the complete circuitry. As soon as the output of sensor goes low, the microcontroller activates buzzer, leds and exhaust.
GSM module: The GSM module is used to send message about gas leak at the dummy number.
